Arrows 9 vs Orangutans 7
#4 Twin City Arrows upset the regular season champs Fighting Orangutans 9-7 on Tuesday with Ben Mckay and Brad Fawson scoring hat tricks for the Arrows and singles to Luke parker, Jamie Dunbar and Zach Fraser. Jack Cardiff backstopped the Arrows.
Mitch Broussard had a hat trick for the O's, Drew macDonald added 2 goals and jasper Goodwin and Jody Gorman had 1 goal apiece.
Hustle 12 vs Sharks 11
3rd seed Halifax Hustle defeated 2nd seed Colby Pool Sharks 12-11 to take a 1-0 series lead. Ian McShane 3g, Luke Wilson 2g, Dan Axford 2G, and 1 goal each for Steph LeBlanc, Connor Aquanno, Jay Titchmarsh, Alex taylor, and Jake Nyhaus.
Gavin Quigley was on fire with 5 goals for the Sharks while Andrew MacNeil (2), Ryan Morris, Chris Mallette, and Alex Bechard also scored.
