The draft was concluded at 8 rounds, due to the limited number of entrants. Players who are selected will report to the respective Nova Scotia Senior Lacrosse League team upon the completion of their final year of junior lacrosse eligibility. Players who are undrafted are eligible for draft in 2020. Players who are undrafted and have completed their final season of junior lacrosse eligibilty may join any Nova Scotia Senior Lacrosse team that has space on their 25-player roster. All communications regarding affiliate player requests will be made through the proper channels of the East Coast Junior Lacrosse League. No senior team may directly contact any affiliated player unless authorized by the East Coast Junior Lacrosse League first. Affiliate players are allowed a maximum 4 games played per season but are not subject to restriction upon the completion of season of their respective team in the East Coast Junior Lacrosse League. The Nova Scotia Senior Lacrosse League has expanded their draft eligibility to allow players who are in their final 3 seasons of junior lacrosse eligibility to become affiliated to the teams in the Nova Scotia Senior Lacrosse League. The 2019 ECJLL draft was capped at 32 players (from 76 eligibles total) in order to allow fair distribution and to reduce restrictions for undrafted players to join the Nova Scotia Senior Lacrosse League. Affiliate players are not eligible to play without the expressed permission from the East Coast Junior Lacrosse or until they are no longer eligible for junior lacrosse.
